In his heart , losing weight is simply to eat less calories than you use . But , man, it's too easy for us to understand that we try to complicate things. Excluding certain items ( sugar, fat , carbohydrates, whatever) , eat certain things on certain days , etc.
And being a man , we tend to like the rules a bit tricky in some diet plans because they seem to help us feel more in control of our bulging bellies ever.
So what weight loss plans work for men? And why should they be different weight loss plans for women?
Answer to the second question , there is no real difference , except men can get away with eating a little more calories than women and still lose weight. Other than that , it's what's on the plate.
In its most basic form , any weight loss plan works for men . But some seem to work better than others.
If you have questions , of course , you should have a discussion with your physician before implementing any diet or exercise program . That makes sense, even if you have not gone quite to have this discussion again ( but , is not it ? )
I'm old enough to remember the ads here in the UK that says that if you can pinch an inch of meat, which was probably overweight. And - despite having lost some weight - I can certainly still pinch an inch or two.
